# How to get Involved

You’ll want to begin your journey by installing the HashPack browser wallet — you can find it on their official website <https://www.hashpack.app/download>. While there are a lot of Browser Wallets out there, we recommend using Hashpack.&#x20;

**Create a new wallet** – or import an existing account using your **Private Key**, **24-Word Phrase** or **Ledger**.

A Seed Phrase allows you to recover your account. **Write down the 24-Word Seed Phrase. Keep it in a safe place.** *<mark style="color:red;">Do not share your Seed Phrase with anyone. Why? Because if someone else finds out your seed phrase, they will be able to access — and therefore control — all the crypto funds held in the wallet.</mark>*

In this step you will be asked to verify your seed phrase.

In Hashpack you will have an option to create a password to access your wallet. We recommend the user to create a password for keeping the account more secure

Again, this step is optional. you can name your account and you can change it later on.

Securely store your Account ID along with your 24-Word Seed Phrase and Private Key. **Don’t lose it! You will need this information to recover your account.**

We recommend buying HBAR at coinbase by following the instructions given thru this link <https://www.coinbase.com/how-to-buy/hedera>. And after buying HBAR, withdraw your HBAR from coinbase into your Hashpack Wallet (you will be needing your Account ID from the previous step).
